RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

  1. Five fish limit.  You must cull on the 6th fish. No culling at landing. Weighing in more than 5 fish will result in the loss of the largest fish.

  2. Blast off at safe light and weigh in at 3:00 CST (unless changed due to weather).

  3. Late penalty of 1 lb. per minute and disqualification after 15 minutes.

  4. Working aerated live well required.  A .25 lb penalty will be assessed for each dead fish.

  5. Only 14 inch largemouth bass and 12 inch spotted bass will be weighed. A short fish weighed will cost the team their big fish. A courtesy measure with no penalty will be allowed.  Weigh master’s decisions are final.

  6. Fish must be caught in a sporting manner.  No trolling or live bait.

  7. Catch and release will be in force.

  8. In case of a boat breakdown, fish may be bagged and transported by another tournament boat. One team member must accompany boat.

  9. The 50 yard rule between boats is in effect.  Boats invoking this rule must be stationary.

  10. In the case of a tie, the two teams will split the money for the two positions involved.

  11. Partners must stay together at all times. Leaving the boat, except in an emergency will result in a disqualification. (unless approved by a tournament director)

  12. EACH TEAM IS ALLOWED TO USE ANY ALTERNATE EXCEPT A REGISTERED TEAM MEMBER FROM ANOTHER TEAM. ONLY TWO PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED PER BOAT.  A TEAM MEMBER MAY FISH SOLO, BUT MUST PAY FULL TEAM DUES AND ENTRY.  ALTERNATES MAY NOT FISH CLASSIC WITHOUT APPROVAL OF TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.

  13. Total Points accumulated will be used to determine Angler of the Year.  Lowest tourney will be dropped.  Classic take-off will be determined by AOY standings.

  14. No use of alcohol or illegal drugs will be permitted.

  15. Sportsmanship will be in effect at all times.  Disqualification may result.

  16. Coast guard approved life jackets and kill switches must be used if motor is above an idle.

  17. Teams must fish FIVE tournaments to qualify for the classic.  A 15% penalty must be paid for each tourney missed to fish classic.

  18. NEW MEMBERSHIP INTO THE E.B.T. IS TOTALLY UP TO THE DISCRETION OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS, ANY NEW ANGLER WHO HAS FISHED AS A PROFESSIONAL WILL BE INELIGIBLE TO FISH. (EVERSTART, FLW TOUR, BASS OPENS OR ELITES, ETC.)

  19. Individuals who are serving as full-time guides in the last 18 months may not fish.

  20. Protests must be presented to tournament directors before or during weigh-in. All tournament Directors decisions are final.

  21. The tournament committee reserves the right to refund any membership & and or entry fee, if they chose for any reason.

  22. No locking through to river- must fish Lake Eufaula only. No fishing in posted marinas or any off-limits areas.
